Using tail ends, attach one end of the cord on the inside edge of the stocking on the same side as the heel around round 22. Ensure the cord is not twisted and attach the other end of the cord on the outside of the stocking so that the ribbing is sandwiched between the cord. Ensure the cord is secure. Finishing Touches You can go ahead and play around with the finishing touches for your stocking. I like to use pom poms, tassels, wooden beads and even crochet stars. I have attached mine just below the hanger, but you can play around with the placement too! I’m sure it’s right in front of my face but can you please point me to it? Reply BellaCocoTeam November 11, 2025 at 12:21 pm Hi Erin I used 1 ball of Stylecraft Special XL, Super Chunky, 100% Premium acrylic, 200g (7.1oz), 136m (148yds), however if you are doing it in two different colours then you will need a further ball of yarn. I hope that helps 🙂 Reply Rita November 22, 2025 at 9:32 pm Hi Sarah-Jayne. I’d love to get the free pattern for the Granny Stitch Stocking. I cannot get the pattern to unlock for me. I get this: “Unlock this exclusive content! Sign up to the Bella Coco Crochet mailing list to unlock free content!” When I click on “Login or Sign up for Free” I get my Grow account info but no way to actually log in. Then I signed up for your mailing list and I still cannot get the free content to unlock for me. What am I doing wrong? Thanks for your help. Reply BellaCocoTeam November 27, 2025 at 12:06 pm Hi Rita unfortunately we are having some issues with Grow particularly with iPhones and iPads, we are hoping that this issue gets resolved quickly 🙂 Reply Leave a Reply Cancel Reply Save my name, email, and website in this browser for the next time I comment.
