Video Tutorials Right-handed Or watch on YouTube Left-handed Or watch on YouTube Pattern F.A.Qs Q. When marking the armholes, the pattern says to locate the centre but I can’t get the number of stitches above and below the centre to match? A. When marking the armholes, you need to locate the centre point which will be between two stitches. The easiest way to mark the armholes is to find the centre point, count in one direction the number of stitches required for your armhole in the size you are making, place a marker, then count back in the opposite direction double that number from that marker and then place your second marker. This makes sure you have exactly the same number of stitches either side of the centre point. Crochet Garments Patterns I hope you enjoyed making the Nova cardigan! I am delighted with its simplicity but the finished garment looks awesome. I have some lovely lilac aran in my stash which has been waiting for the right pattern. This is it!!! Thank you once again, both for the pattern and the video Kind regards Sue Reply Becki February 14, 2025 at 12:19 am Love the pattern. Your little one is quite the cute model. She looks good in the gold mini cardigan. I’ve just gotten BACK into crocheting after many years hiatus. Enjoying the many patterns available online. It’s really helpful to have a video to go along with the written instructions. It’s a lot of work for the bloggers but very much appreciated! Reply Lori March 26, 2025 at 3:11 am This pattern looks great. I’m left handed and so appreciate your video! I am wondering if when you say length is 30 inches that means the 183 chain stitches should be 60 inches ? This is my first cardigan and want to get started correctly. Cheers, Lori Reply Annette Patterson May 7, 2025 at 4:24 pm Fabulous video! If I wanted to make it shorter, say to the waist or hip, how would you suggest calculating the number of stitches? Reply Joanne Yarin July 9, 2025 at 9:30 pm Based on the instructions and stitch count posted on the blog, the count is one less after the neck portion than before the neck portion. Is this intentional, or should it be one more chain so that the number of stitches is equal to what it was on the other side? Thanks! Reply Jayne robinson August 19, 2025 at 12:55 am I cannot get this pattern to unlock so I can see the complete instructions. I’m so frustrated Reply Jayne robinson August 19, 2025 at 1:01 pm I thought I had done that Reply Jayne Robinson October 3, 2025 at 2:17 pm I cannot get the pattern unlocked, I’ve followed the instructions and have had no luck. It’s hard for me to believe this is even real Reply BellaCocoTeam October 7, 2025 at 2:33 pm Hi Jayne, I’m sorry you are having issues – if you have created a grow account you should have access – maybe you could try again 🙂 Reply Leave a Reply Cancel Reply Save my name, email, and website in this browser for the next time I comment.
