Materials & Tools

Yarn: Stylecraft Special DK (#3),100% Premium Acrylic, 295m (322yds), 100g (3.5oz). Colour A: Claret (1123), Colour C: Cream (1005).
Hook: 4mm (6US)
Scissors
Darning Needle
Stitch Marker
Wooden Beads: 100mm diameter
Pom Pom Maker: 3.5 cm
Glue Gun or Fabric Glue

Round 3: 2 BLOdc in next st, BLOdc in next 4 sts. <6sts>
Round 4: 2 BLOdc in next st, BLOdc in next 5 sts. <7sts>

Fasten off, join in next st with an invisible join. Sew in ends.

Head: Pom Pom

Make pom pom using cream and pom pom maker. Trim leaving tail end connected.
Thread one bead onto tail end and press tail across the top of the pom pom. Glue into place to create the nose.
Apply glue to the inside of the base of the hat. Press onto the top of the pom pom head ensuring the hat covers the hole on the top of the bead.
