Yarn C: (0.4g/1yds) of King cole Cottonsoft DK (#3), 100% Cotton, 100g (3.5oz), 210m (229yds), in shade Buttercup (1600) Yarn D: (0.8g/2.2yds) of Paintbox Cotton DK (#3), 100% Cotton, 50g(1.7oz), 125m(137yds), in shade Light Champagne (403) Hook Size: 3mm and 4mm Scissors Darning needle Keychain attachment, there are a few styles of these. Fasten off leaving a long tails for sewing. Using long tail end sew strawberry leaves on to the top of the strawberry. Fragola Keychain Leaves (make 3) You are viewing this pattern in UK terms. Using yarn B and 3mm hookRound 1: Ch 5, ss in second ch from hook, work 1htr in next 2 sts. Work three dc in last st rotating work to work along the underside of the ch. Work 1htr in next 2 sts, ss in last st. Fasten off leaving long tail for sewing. <9 sts> Sew the three leaves together using the images as guidance. Sew in ends leaving one long tail end to attach to the keychain later. Flower With yarn C and 3mm hook, make a magic ring. Round 1: Work 10 dc in magic ring. Join will ss to first st. Fasten off and pull ring closed <10 sts>With yarn D, join with ss to any st. Round 2: *Ch 3, work 3 tr in next st, ch 3, ss next st; repeat from * four more times ending with the final ss in the base of beginning ch-3. Fasten off. <10 ch-3, 15 tr> Sew in ends. Connecting With yarn B and 3mm hook, join with ss to keychain attachment. Make a chain measuring 3cm (1.9inch), fasten off leaving a long tail end for sewing. Repeat this process making the next chain measure 8cm (3.2inch) and the final chain measuring 5cm (1.10inch). Using the tail ends, sew the strawberry appliqués to the chains measuring 3cm (1.9inch) and 8cm (3.2inch). Sew the flower appliqué to the remaining chain.
