Not only are you learning how to crochet four different stitches into a blanket you can also get creative with the colours. This pattern also looks great using variegated yarn and a block colour. You can choose a variegated yarn or as many or as few contrasting colours, check the yardage in the materials and tools for the amounts needed. For sections of the pattern where you are changing colour, you will not be required to fasten off the yarn when changing colour, instead, float the yarn up the side of the work.
