How to Crochet a Modern Textured Crochet Blanket

Crochet a modern textured crochet blanket for your home to add a touch of texture detail to your home decor. This weighty blanket is perfect for those who need that extra bit of comfort. Whilst I have designed and made this blanket for my UK Super King size bed, I have also included alternative sizes to suit your needs.

I named this blanket The Briar Blanket as part of a collaborative nature-inspired Homeware Collection. Crocheted using my favourite stitch to create this stunning texture, this blanket that is also my biggest crochet blanket to date.

• 17 balls of Lion Brand Wool Ease Thick and Quick, Super Chunky/ Category 6, 86% Acrylic, 10% Wool, 4% Rayon, 170g (6oz), 97m (106yds) in shade Wheat
• Hook: 8mm (US L-11)
• Embroidery scissors
• Darning needle
• 6-inch piece of card
• Large sharp scissors
