With colour A, make a magic ring. 1-3 Round 1: Ch 3 (counts as a tr here and throughout), 19 tr in ring, join with ss in top of ch-3 and pull ring closed. <20 tr> Round 2: Ch 3, tr in next st, *ch 2, tr in next 2 sts; repeat from * eight more times. Ch 2, join with ss to top of beg ch-3. <20 tr, 10 ch-2 sps> Round 3: Ch 3, skip next tr, *work (2 tr, ch 2, 2 tr) in next ch-2 sp, skip 2 trs; repeat from * eight more times. (2 tr, ch 2, tr) in last ch-2 sp, join with ss to beg ch-3. Fasten off and sew in ends. <40 tr, 10 ch-2 sps> Join colour B in any ch-2 sp from round three with a ss. 4-5 Round 4: Ch 3 (counts as htr and ch 1), htr in same ch-sp. *Htr in next 2 sts, ch 1, htr in next 2 sts, (htr, ch 1, htr) in ch-sp; repeat from * eight more times. Htr in next 2 sts, ch 1, htr in next 2 sts. Join with ss in 2nd ch of beg ch-3. <66 tr, 20 ch-1 sps> Round 5: Ss into next ch-sp, *miss 3 sts, work 7 tr in ch-1 sp. Miss 3 sts, ss in ch-1 sp; repeat from * nine more times ending with final ss in same sp as beg ss <10 sets of 7 tr> Fasten off and sew in ends. Finishing Off Cut a 60-cm piece from colour C and thread up with a darning needle. Starting from from front to back, thread the darning needle in and out of the ch-1 sps from round four leaving a 20-cm tail end at the beginning. You will end by bringing your yarn from back to front through the final sp. With tail ends make a bow and trim of any additional tail ends as desired.
