Turn inside out.

Thread up darning needle and weave in and out of the top of every stitch of final round.

Pull tight to close center. Weave in and out from one side to another if needed to further secure the top of the hat.

Turn right side out. Bring tail end to the right side of the work to attach the Pom Pom.

Sew in end.

Styling

Fold brim in half. I would recommend to place a few stitches through the free edge of the brim and the main hat section for smaller sizes for safety.

If there seems to be some sort of glitch on the webpage. The pattern goes straight from changing to 5mm hook after round 1 in the “main hat section” to the “styling” section. All of the instructions for the main hat portion are missing.

I’m making the adult size . Following the instructions, Round 5-17 (repeat rounds 3 & 4), means I end on a row 3. Round 18 says repeat round 3. Is this right?

This still doesn’t really make sense. I am working the teen size and I have just done round 15 which is a row 3 repeat, and I’m confused about what to do next…do I do another 2 rows then before decreasing or do I decrease now?

Hi Alex Round 15 is the row 3 repeat, once you have done this you then do the final round. I recommend that you watch the video as this may help you 🙂
