Slip Knot

Learn how to slip knot with the three techniques. The slip knot is the first step in crochet, and is used to create a loop that can be worked into. This allows you to start your project with a chain, and then continue to crochet in the chain.

Unless the pattern states to start with a magic circle/ring you’ll need to master this technique to get started with your crochet projects.

As with most things Crochet, there is no ‘one size fits all’. Choose from these three methods to learn which one is best for you. You can find the FREE video tutorial available in both right and left handed versions below.
