When the yarn inspires the design… introducing my Cowl Scarf. We’re working a little differently from the previous projects, as we will be crocheting this cowl in the round.

This yarn led the the way when I began designing this cowl scarf, just from squishing this yarn I imagined it snuggled around my neck. I love snuggly cowl scarfs for many reasons they are super comfy and easy to wear whilst being really enjoyable and quick to make. 

Learning Elements

Working in the round: foundation ring method.

Yarn Details

I used two 100g balls of Chunky (bulky) Wool & The Gang Alpachino in Rocky Grey.

Alternative Yarn Suggestions

If you’d like make the Cowl Scarf using an alternative yarn I suggest the following three yarns. All of these yarns can be purchased on Love Crafts. As always I recommend doing a gauge swatch whether you are using the same yarn used in the pattern or an alternative yarn.
