- Yarn: Stylecraft Special DK in colours saffron, copper, vintage peach and meadow
- Hook: I used 3.5mm (but larger or smaller hook and different weight yarn can be used to create different sized leaves, see below)
- Scissors
- Darning Needle

Crochet terms and abbreviations
- Chain Space(ch-sp)
- Slip Stitch (ss): Insert hook into space, yarn over and pull through stitch and loop on hook.
- Chain (ch): Yarn over, pull through one loop on hook.
- Double Crochet(s): dc(s): Insert hook into stitch, yarn over, pull up a loop, you will have two loops on the hook. Yarn over, pull through remaining two loops.
- Treble crochet (tr): Yarn over, insert hook into stitch, yarn over, pull up a loop, you will have three loops on the hook. Yarn over, pull through two loops, yarn over, pull through remaining two loops.
- Half Treble Crochet(s): htr(s): Yarn over, insert into stitch, yarn over, pull up a loop, you will have three loops on the hook. Yarn over, pull through remaining three loops.
- Double Treble(s): dtr(s): Yarn over hook twice, insert hook into stitch, yarn over, pull up a loop, you will have four loops on the hook. Yarn over, pull through two loops, you will have three loops on the hook. Yarn over, pull through two loops, yarn over, pull through remaining two loops.

Crochet Leaf Pattern
Foundation: Ch10
First side: 3tr in third ch from the hook, tr in next 3 sts, htr in next 2 sts, dc, ss, ch 2.
Second side: ss (in same space as previous ss), dc, htr in next 2 sts, tr in next 3 sts, 3tr in next st, join with ss in top of first st.
To continue on and add a stem: ch4, dc into 3rd chain from hook, dc into next ch. ss to base of leaf. Tie off leaving a long tail end for sewing onto a project.
Sew in beginning end (or both if not sewing onto a project).
