Crochet Daisy

If you’re looking for something fun and fresh to hook up, why not try a pretty petalled crochet daisy? This quick and simple tutorial is suitable for all skill levels and is perfect for adding embellishment to other crochet projects, or cotton tees or creating a sweet string of bunting.

Using just three different types of stitch, this is simplicity at its finest. If you can chain, slip stitch and treble then you can adorn yourself with daisies.

This pattern uses UK crochet terms.

Using green yarn, chain to a length you desire and connect daisies to form a daisy chain.

Chain (Ch): Yarn over, pull through one loop on hook.

Slip Stitch (sl st): Insert hook, yarn over, pull through both stitch and loop on hook.

Treble crochet (tr): Yarn over and insert your hook into the chain or stitch, yarn over and pull through (you will have three loops on the hook) yarn over and pull through two loops (you will have two loops on your hook) yarn over and pull the yarn through both of the remaining loops on the hook.
