  • Skill Level: Beginner
  • This pattern is made up by creating a solid back panel and two narrow front panels. The sleeve and cuff will be crocheted onto the main body to minimise seaming. You will finish by adding ribbing to the bottom and neckline using the join as you go method.
  • The number references for each size will be listed as follows: XS (S, M, L, XL) (2X, 3X, 4X, 5X)

Gauge

14 sts X 6.5 rows per 10cm X 10cm (4in X 4in) measured over main stitch pattern.

Adaptations

Length

You can choose to increase or decrease the rows of your main panels to suit your liking. Please be sure to make note of your adjustments and apply to the back and front panels so they are all equal.

Sleeve Length

The pattern is written with 29 rows for the sleeves (before ribbing, this measures 45.3cm/17.85inch), however this can be adapted to your preference.

Due to the cardigan being a drop shoulder, you may need to decrease the number of rows you work before the ribbing is added when making the larger sizes. This is because the fabric will naturally fit lower down the arm. Please do a fit check before adding the cuff.

Ribbing

The width of your ribbing can be adjusted to your preference by changing the amount you chain after your set up row(s).
