Keep an eye on your inbox for updates. Zigzag Slip Stitch Join Join with a ss from right side to wrong side into the last chain of the working edge of your Square A as indicated on diagram below. Slip stitch into the corresponding square from right side to wrong side. Continue to slip stitch from in each corresponding stitch along This will continue until you reach the first chain of the opposite corner. You will then continue this across another square to connect. This will continue until you have joined all of the squares in that column. You will join all of the squares in the columns first and then join the rows. The photos below will show you how to work over the existing corners. I am now adding that first border (DC in UK terms, SC in US terms). When I come to the row or column across the blanket where the squares are joined, do I add a chain to skip over the point at which the two rows or columns are joined? If I don’t, I noticed that the stitch will pull across that space. This is the first blanket I’ve ever done so I’m now sure what to do at that point. Thank you so much for providing a video tutorial.
