Ways to Use a Granny Triangle

  • Bunting & Garlands: String several triangles together for a cheerful decoration, perfect for parties, nurseries, or seasonal displays.
  • Shawls & Wraps: Join granny triangles point-to-point to create lightweight and colourful accessories.
  • Blankets & Throws: Mix triangles with granny squares or hexagons for a patchwork-style blanket full of texture and charm.
  • Cushions & Home Decor: Combine triangles into larger shapes (like hexagons or diamonds) for eye-catching cushion covers.
  • Wearables: Add triangles as edging on ponchos, scarves, or even summer tops for a boho-inspired look.
  • Scrap Yarn Projects: Use leftover yarn to make small triangles, perfect for reducing waste and experimenting with colour combinations.
