Crochet Terms

Stitch(s): St(s)

Chain(s): Ch(s): Yarn over and pull up a loop.

Treble Crochet(s): tr(s): Yarn over, insert into stitch, yarn over, pull up a loop, you will have three loops on the hook. Yarn over, pull through two loops, yarn over, pull through remaining two loops.

Front Post Treble(s): fpt(s): Yarn over, insert hook around post of stitch from front to back to front, yarn over, pull up a loop, you will have three loops on the hook. Yarn over, pull through two loops, yarn over, pull through remaining two loops.

Foundation Chain: Ch in mutiples of 2, plus 1 for turning

Row 1: Dc in 2nd ch from hook. Dc to end.

Row 2: Ch2 (counts as one tr here are throughout), tr in next st and in every st to the end.

Row 3: Ch1 (does not count as a stitch here and throughout), dc in base of ch-1, dc to end.

Row 4: Ch2, *fpt around next st two rows down, tr in top of next of same row st; repeat from * to last st. tr in turning ch.

Row 5: Ch1, dc in base of ch-1, dc to end.

Row 6: Ch 2, *tr in top of next st, fpt around next st; repeat from * to end.

Repeat rows 3-6 until you reach your desired height.

Final Row: Ch1, dc in base of ch-1, dc to end.

Fasten off. Sew in Ends
